Tai chi chuan is a Chinese martial art which to many people conjures up visions of an Oriental combatant flying through the air, or a pile of bricks being shattered by a fist.

These images are of aggression, violence and destruction.  However tai chi chuan is a soft or internal art designed to create within the practitioner a deep sense of the unity of the mind, body and soul.
Although it is a martial art and can be used as such, it has also evolved into a method of personal development and physical wellbeing.  Not only training the body with the minimal risk of strain or injury, but also your mind.
Training in tai chi chuan will lead you to a new level of self knowledge and awareness and teach you how your body relates to your mind and to your inner being, your soul.
